Hello! I am the creator behind "Drilon Rose" and a lover of books. I handmake and package all of my scrunchies that I have listed in my Etsy shop.
Drilon is a Filipino name that has been passed down from Mother to child in my family. I was born in the Philippines and adopted by a Filipina and an American man and raised in the beautiful state of Maine. I am a proud Wife, Mom and USMC Veteran.
My shop would have never happened if it wasn't for my daughter, SJ, convincing me to create an Etsy shop. I love to create anything I possibly can that my mind conjures up. Anything from cosplay outfits for conventions here in Las Vegas to journals and notebooks for SJ to use.
Creating is my therapy. It helps calms my anxiety. It helps me get my thoughts right. I began making so many things that I got to the point where SJ just said "Mom, you need to sell things." Her faith in me pushed me to take this risk. She is my motivation in everything I do.
I truly hope that something I create puts a smile on someone's face. I genuinely want to make people happy and help them find a way to put their thoughts out into the world. We all deserve to be who we are in this world and be appreciated for the difference we bring.
